I'm New
What to Expect When You Attend Our Church.
All visitors receive a warm and friendly welcome before being escorted to their seats by ushers. Thirty minutes prior to the Sunday Service which starts at 11.00am there is a Prayer Session joined by the congregants with church leaders present. This is the prelude to the worship service.
Service begins with worship led by the band and Worship Team. The words of the songs are projected on a screen to enable worshipers to join in and enjoy the holy presence in the sanctuary. It is indeed a time of joy and gladness brought on by the Holy Spirit resulting in the physical Pentecostal reaction to worship such as singing, praising and praying.
At the conclusion of worship there is bible reading related to the sermon, collection of tithes and offerings as well as testimonies from the congregation.
The sermon is always focused on scripture. The Holy Spirit leads the pastor as to his/her theme and topic. Pastors are known to prepare their sermons carefully and prayerfully just like in the early church.
Children are gathered, before the sermon, on the ground floor for Children's Church led by a leader of the Children's Ministry. There is singing, praying and Bible reading. Children are served refreshments.
There is an alter call at the end of the sermon. This is an invitation from the pastor to those who are not "born again" to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There are also prayers for individuals, at their request, for healing, personal needs, spiritual needs, family, job etc. Sometimes people are anointed with oil for healing, consecration and any other cause. With the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit some people speak in tongues, sometimes there is interpretation of tongues and prophecies like on the Day of Pentecost.
Service ends with much joy and rejoicing.
